Facility
A
strong pool of scientists mans the present
R&D facility at Ponda is recognised
by the Department of Scientific and Industrial
Research (DSIR), Government of India. The
department is housed Analytical Research
Laboratory to meet the domestic and international
quality standards. Our laboratories are
of GMP models meeting all current GMP and
GLP practices. A separate pilot plant with
the latest equipments like RMG and Cream
/ Ointment facility, supported by latest
analytical instruments like HPLC / HPTLC
/ FTIR / Spectrophotometer and Auto dissolution
test apparatus is available.
Focus
The
current focus is on the following research
areas
New drug delivery systems
Liposome based targeted drug delivery
system
Derma Antifungal and Anti allergic preparations
Pain management and Osteoporosis segment
Anti ulcer and H2-Antagonist preparations
Antibiotic and Antibacterial segments.
The R&D has already
developed and launched Fluconazole Gel
first time in India based on micro emulsion
technology. It has also launched sustained
release formulations of Domperidone and
Diclofenac Sodium. Besides above R&D
has also developed unique combination
products. R&D has contributed immensely
to the growing product range with technological
